Professional Summary: Jay brings over 25 years of experience across land brokerage, site selection, tenant representation, investment sales, and property management, contributing to the development, acquisition, and disposition of more than 10 million square feet of retail, multifamily, and industrial properties across Alabama, Mississippi, and the Florida Panhandle. A Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), he is a lifelong Mobile resident, entrepreneur, and President of his family’s firm, J. L. O’Brien & Associates, Inc., and actively participates in the National, State, and Mobile Boards of Realtors. Jay has also served as a State Board Member and Officer for the Coastal Conservation Association of Alabama, where he remains involved. An Auburn University graduate with a degree in Building Science, he enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hunting and fishing, and is a member of St. Ignatius Parish alongside his wife and their two children.
